Just because you have a dynamic, database generated website, it doesn't mean it can't do well in search engines. Netpromote have devised ways to ensure Joomla websites are optimised as well as they can be for search engines.

• Content, content, content. Of course the basis of your site has to be a good stock of well written content. If you're not quite there yet, ask us for help and we can suggest new content to add to your Joomla site, or even help you write it.
  
  
• Page titles. The standard installation of Joomla doesn't give you much scope for optimised page titles. There a number of solutions Netpromote can implement to ensure the all important page title isn't left lacking on your pages.
  
  
• Meta-tags. The fields are there as standard on all content items in Joomla, but it's surprising how many people leave out a description or keywords tag when it would only take a few extra minutes to add on each page.
  
  
• Page headings. H1 tags around the content heading are not standard in Joomla. For SEO purposes we'd prefer if they were. We'll help you make it so.
  
  
• Alt-tags. Not strictly necessary, but good for accessibility.
  
  
• Content linking to content. This is a way of linking that many people leave out thanks to Joomla's template and navigation design being so easy to use. We don't think that should be the way though and will go through your site looking for places in your content that relate to, and can be linked to other content.
  
  
• Search Engine Friendly URL's. There are a number of Joomla components that can help with this. Netpromote will help you implement them to ensure you have search engine friendly URL's.
  
  
• Sitemaps - Every site needs a map, even Joomla sites. Both sitemaps for humans and for search engines added to your Joomla site
  
  
• Google Analytics. Joomla doesn't come with a good analytics package built in so we make sure all our clients are set up with Google Analytics, and insert it into your Joomla templates.
